Prior to becoming the Principal of Propel Hazelwood three years ago, Ms. George worked for the NYC Department of Education. She earned her Masters of Education from Mercy College. She has her National Institute for School Leadership Certificate, her Master of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, K-12 Administation I & II Certifications,and  Pre-K PA Teaching Certification.

Her primary goals for the 2017-2018 school year are to produce well-rounded scholars who are able to positively impact the world in which we live. To engage families and the community to strengthen their relationship as partners to ensure the success of every scholar at Propel Hazelwood. To continue their work towards closing the achievement gap, bringing them closer to meeting their goal of becoming a Blue Ribbon School.
