Offi     Contest Rules

Theme: “Imagine…A World of Habits”

This year’s Imagine Contest theme is “Imagine…A World of Habits”. In a fun, creative, and artistic way, entries should represent how the world would be if everyone followed the “6 Life Habits Towards Greatness” used at Propel McKeesport.

Contest begins: Thursday, February 2, 2012

Contest ends: Thursday, February 23, 2012

Awards Announced at the Celebration of Learning on Tuesday Feb. 28th beginning at 9am

The 4 areas of competition are:

1. Literature - A story or poem made up by your child and written down by him/her (kindergarten and first graders can dictate a story to an adult to write)

2. Music Composition/Dance – CD, DVD, media card, or flash drive of your child singing a song, playing an instrument, or performing a dance routine

3. Photography - Any photo or photo collage taken by your child

4. Visual Arts - An original drawing, coloring, chalk, paint creation, video clip

Students must write their name, grade and title of work on the BACK of each entry. Entering is optional and your child is encouraged to enter as many times in as many categories as he/she chooses. Turn all projects in to the school office. No late entries will be accepted. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Myers or Mrs. Santelli. Don’t forget to use your imagination!
