MeKaya Turner is a hard worker who has been doing an excellent job in Kindergarten! She has been learning and displaying our school habits daily, becoming a role model for her peers. Way to go MeKaya, keep up the great work! We are very proud of you!
Ari Ward is a hard-working student who puts forth great effort. She is a kind, sweet friend and is always willing to help her teachers and classmates. We’re so lucky to have a rock star like Ari in 1st grade!
Devona Simmons comes in to school everyday prepared with her materials and ready to learn greeting everyone with a warm smile on her face. She is always willing to help out whether it is a fellow peer or one of her teachers. She has made friends quickly and fit right into her new second grade class. We are very pleased and honored to have such a wonderful new student this school year!
Naylah Muhammad is consistently following the Habits and setting an example for her peers. She never needs to be redirected and never needs to be addressed for behavioral issues. She is an exemplary student.

Micailla Metz has started the fifth grade year as a leader, hard worker, and stellar teammate. She focuses on her first job, to be a student, and successfully maintains three jobs in Education City. Micailla, you are the bomb.com!
Austin Halaszysnski is Sixth Grade’s Student of the Month. Austin is a self motivated and tireless worker. He approaches his assignments with energy and enthusiasm, both attributes that he possesses in abundance! Austin’s easy manner belies the respect and professionalism that he shows to teachers as well as classmates. Ever ready to lend a pencil or help with an answer, Austin’s generosity is legendary. For all of these reasons, but most of all for his love of learning, Austin is Sixth Grade’s Student of the Month.
Jasmine has started the year with a very positive attitude. She has been turning in all of her homework and working hard to get her work done each day. Jasmine became one of the first students to join Summit Scholars, the new academic based group in grades 7 and 8. Keep up the good work, Jasmine!
Nielesse has done a great job of transitioning to Propel McKeesport in her 8th grade year – no easy feat! She tackles all of her class work and does her best to complete it each day. She works well with other students and shows respect towards adults. We’re so glad she came!
