At no cost to families, Propel Schools offers our Afterschool Program to all ages at our 13 charter schools. This program continues Monday through Thursday for 36 weeks with 8-12 total hours each week. That ends up being about an additional 360 hours of education and enrichment offered to our Propel scholars. Propel School's Afterschool Program aims to improve scholars' academic achievement, encourages healthy lifelong skills, provides resources, and builds an ongoing platform for scholars and families.
Family activities are also available throughout the year. In addition, the Propel Advisory Board meets quarterly with members of the community, families, and staff. The Afterschool Action Team brings youth voice to Propel and throughout the state.
After completing their homework or working with a tutor, scholars participate in a variety of enrichment activities including:
