  •  Starting salary for Propel Schools educators is among the highest in the Pittsburgh region.
  •  You have a choice between Highmark and UPMC medical insurance for a low monthly contribution and receive vision/dental for $1 per month each.
  •  If you choose to waive your medical benefits, you can receive an additional $75 per pay.
  •  Employees have reimbursed a portion of what they spend on wellness activities, including gym memberships and diet programs. We also provide an incentive for completing a Propel-selected Wellness Program each year.
  • Propel automatically contributes 5% to an employee's retirement (403b) and matches 100% of employee contributions up to 4%.
  • After one year of service, employees are eligible for our Tuition Assistance Program, which offers reimbursement of up to $2,000 annually upon course completion.
  • After two years of service, employees can receive $75 per pay that can be used to pay back student loans or deposited into a 529 Plan or FSA Dependent Care Account.
  • We offer a complimentary $50,000 life insurance policy.
  • Staff can earn additional pay for leadership roles as part of our Pathway Program.
